# MetaFit vs EatSync

The clearest difference is update cadence: EatSync at every 5 days against MetaFit's every 3 weeks. MetaFit's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetaFit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EatSync sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MetaFit ships an update every 3 weeks, EatSync every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
