# YearMap vs Daylit

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Daylit at 14.0 against YearMap's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YearMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daylit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YearMap ships an update every 2 days, Daylit every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
