# avec. vs Otti

The clearest difference is monetization model: avec. at free against Otti's freemium. avec. also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. avec. sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Otti sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for avec. against 5.0 for Otti. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: avec. has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

avec. ships an update every 3 days, Otti every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
