# Secure VPN vs VoiceFold

The clearest difference is monetization model: VoiceFold at freemium against Secure VPN's subscription. VoiceFold also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and VoiceFold sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Secure VPN against 4.9 for VoiceFold. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 8 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Secure VPN ships an update weekly, VoiceFold every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
