# Symptio vs Note & Tell

The clearest difference is update cadence: Symptio at every 4 days against Note & Tell's every 8 days. Note & Tell's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Symptio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Note & Tell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Symptio ships an update every 4 days, Note & Tell every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
