# AJ vs Comic AI

The clearest difference is rating: Comic AI at 4.8 against AJ's 4.0. Comic AI also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AJ sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Comic AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comic AI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic AI has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

AJ ships an update monthly, Comic AI every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
