# Nocturnum vs Fromly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fromly at every 5 days against Nocturnum's every 4 weeks. Fromly also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nocturnum sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fromly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nocturnum ships an update every 4 weeks, Fromly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
