# Calandr vs ChimeSet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Calandr at every 5 days against ChimeSet's every 2 weeks. ChimeSet's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calandr sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and ChimeSet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Calandr ships an update every 5 days, ChimeSet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
