# Enermind vs Focus Timer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Focus Timer at 100% against Enermind's 50%. Focus Timer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9) and ads (none vs shown). Enermind's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Enermind sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Focus Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Enermind has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Enermind's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus Timer's.

Enermind ships an update weekly, Focus Timer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
