# 資格タイマー vs DualTextScanner

The clearest difference is ads: DualTextScanner at none against 資格タイマー's shown. DualTextScanner also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). 資格タイマー's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 資格タイマー sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DualTextScanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

資格タイマー ships an update every 2 weeks, DualTextScanner every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
