# FlexiDual vs StarCrop

The clearest difference is update cadence: StarCrop at fortnightly against FlexiDual's every 2 months. StarCrop also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlexiDual sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StarCrop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlexiDual ships an update every 2 months, StarCrop fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
