# Silq vs Study Buddy

The clearest difference is rating: Study Buddy at 5.0 against Silq's 3.6. Silq's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (80 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Silq sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.29 per month and Study Buddy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Buddy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Silq has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
