# WayNote vs Acarta

The clearest difference is update cadence: Acarta at every 2 days against WayNote's fortnightly. WayNote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WayNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Acarta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WayNote ships an update fortnightly, Acarta every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
