# WhaleWatch vs S

The clearest difference is update cadence: S at weekly against WhaleWatch's monthly. S also leads on device support. WhaleWatch's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WhaleWatch sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per month and S sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WhaleWatch ships an update monthly, S weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
