# Imagic vs BOARD

The clearest difference is ads: BOARD at none against Imagic's shown. BOARD also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). Imagic's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Imagic sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and BOARD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Imagic ships an update monthly, BOARD every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
