# Clever Eat vs Caliper

The clearest difference is ads: Caliper at none against Clever Eat's shown. Clever Eat's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clever Eat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Caliper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clever Eat ships an update fortnightly, Caliper every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
