# TimeLayer vs OneTake

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TimeLayer at none against OneTake's 3. TimeLayer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). OneTake's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneTake sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. TimeLayer asks for nothing beyond the download.

TimeLayer ships an update every 3 months, OneTake every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
