# CortextAI vs Penna

The clearest difference is update cadence: Penna at every 4 days against CortextAI's every 2 months. CortextAI's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CortextAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Penna sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CortextAI ships an update every 2 months, Penna every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
