# My Audiobook vs Tempo

The clearest difference is update cadence: My Audiobook at every 4 days against Tempo's every 10 days. Tempo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Audiobook sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Tempo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Audiobook ships an update every 4 days, Tempo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
