# Step Counter vs Cadence

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Step Counter at 15.1 against Cadence's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Counter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Cadence sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
