# ToDoLinks vs chapter lock

The clearest difference is update cadence: chapter lock at every 2 days against ToDoLinks's every 6 days. ToDoLinks's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDoLinks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and chapter lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToDoLinks ships an update every 6 days, chapter lock every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
