# Notebook Games vs Hangmania

The clearest difference is ads: Notebook Games at none against Hangmania's shown. Hangmania's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook Games sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hangmania sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook Games ships an update fortnightly, Hangmania daily. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
