# Simple Reminder vs Cinch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cinch at every 3 days against Simple Reminder's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Reminder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Cinch sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple Reminder ships an update fortnightly, Cinch every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
