# Shared Calendar vs InSync

The clearest difference is update cadence: InSync at every 3 days against Shared Calendar's every 4 months. Shared Calendar's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shared Calendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and InSync sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shared Calendar ships an update every 4 months, InSync every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
