# Oath vs TapLock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Oath at every 2 days against TapLock's fortnightly. TapLock's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oath sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and TapLock sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Oath ships an update every 2 days, TapLock fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
