# FocusLock vs AppendX

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: FocusLock at 17.0 against AppendX's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FocusLock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AppendX sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FocusLock ships an update every 10 days, AppendX every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
