# WatchWhere vs The Field

The clearest difference is ads: The Field at none against WatchWhere's shown. The Field also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchWhere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and The Field sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WatchWhere ships an update every 3 months, The Field every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
