# Discipline Lock vs Runner Lock

The clearest difference is update cadence: Runner Lock at every 4 days against Discipline Lock's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discipline Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Runner Lock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Discipline Lock ships an update fortnightly, Runner Lock every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
