See what the SceneView SDK can do, on your own iPhone or iPad, before you write a line of code. SceneView is an open-source 3D and augmented reality SDK for SwiftUI, built on RealityKit. This app is its demo: nearly 50 screens, each one a working sample of a feature you can put in your own app. Every screen links to the source code that draws it, and most of them are only a few lines long. START HERE - Cosmos β a galaxy, a star with a ringed planet, and particle storms that glow in real time. Tap the planet and the camera flies there. - 3D Scan β move around a space and watch it take shape in 3D. WHAT THE SAMPLES SHOW - 3D models β load USDZ and Reality files, play their animations, and orbit, pinch and zoom the camera. - Augmented reality β place a model on a table, hang it on a wall, track images and faces, or place it instantly without waiting for a plane. - Real-world blending β real furniture and passing people stay in front of virtual objects, and the light around you lights the model. - Lighting and materials β swap HDR environments and watch reflections and shadows change in real time. - Scene mesh, depth, physics, geometry, spatial audio and more. - Your own files β open a USDZ, Reality, STL, OBJ or PLY file and see how the SDK renders it. FOR DEVELOPERS A 3D model on screen is one view, and AR placement is one call. Find the screen that looks like what you want to build, open its code, and copy it into your project. The SDK, the samples and this app are free and open source: SceneView has more than 1,300 stars on GitHub, and over 500 public repositories declare it as a dependency. github.com/sceneview/sceneview PRIVACY No account, no ads, no cross-app tracking. Your models and the camera feed stay on your device β the camera is used only for AR, and nothing it sees is stored or uploaded. The app sends usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase), never linked to your identity, to decide what to improve next β you can turn them off in Settings. Beyond that, the one feature that reaches the network is the online model gallery, and only while you are searching it. Open source under the Apache License 2.0. https://github.com/sceneview/sceneview
MeshView

MeshView is a professional-grade Offline-First 3D model visualizer, AR projection tool, and immersive stereoscopic Cardboard VR browser designed specifically for 3D artists, industrial designers, CAD mechanical engineers, and stereoscopic rendering enthusiasts. We believe your professional blueprints, industrial designs, and creative assets should remain entirely yours. MeshView operates on a strict Zero-Server architectureβmeaning all file importing, polygon rendering, real-time material swapping, gyroscope head-tracking, and USDZ conversions are processed 100% locally inside your deviceβs sandboxed private memory. No uploads, no account registration, and zero data leakage. [KEY FEATURES] Robust Offline Formats Compatibility: Seamlessly load .obj (with material properties), .stl (standard industrial CAD meshes), .ply (point clouds/polygon assets), and Apple's native .usdz formats. Harness local GPU capabilities and optimized ModelIO engines to load hundreds of thousands of polygons in seconds without lag. Professional Interactive 3D Viewport: Highly responsive touch gestures for smooth single-finger rotation, two-finger scaling, and panoramic camera panning. Tweak surface materials with a single tap: apply polished chrome, brushed gold, carbon fiber, matte polymer, sci-fi wireframe mesh, or refractive glass. Switch between diverse ambient lighting presets such as "Studio Spotlight", "Sunny Beach", "Neon Cyberpunk", or "Deep Space Shadow" to examine micro-reflections. Cardboard Gyroscope-Tracked VR Mode: True stereoscopic dual-eye split-screen rendering view. Integrated directly with iOS Motion Sensors (Gyroscope & Accelerometer) at 60Hz low latency to track your head movements. Slip your device into any standard VR goggles (e.g. Google Cardboard) for a hands-free, high-fidelity 3D structural tour and immersive spatial inspections. Horizontal AR Surface Projection: Instantly compile universal OBJ/STL/PLY files into native standard Apple USDZ format entirely offline. Summon horizontal surface plane anchoring via native ARKit technology. Cast your models into the real world at an accurate 1:1 scale with realistic shadows. Absolute Enterprise-Grade Privacy Protection: Zero account registration required. Zero tracking cookies. MeshView contains NO third-party analytical SDKs or mobile ads libraries. Works perfectly without an internet connection, ensuring absolute protection against commercial industrial design espionage. Complete Local Data Sovereignty: Empowered with advanced storage maintenance tools in Settings. You can clear your storage clutter immediately ("Delete All Models") or restore high-definition factory spurs and planetary gear blueprints ("Restore Built-in Models") instantly.
