# WeParent vs SplitWeeks

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitWeeks at every 3 days against WeParent's every 2 weeks. WeParent's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WeParent sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SplitWeeks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WeParent ships an update every 2 weeks, SplitWeeks every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
