# Writing App vs Penveil

The clearest difference is device support: Writing App at 4 against Penveil's 2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Writing App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Penveil sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
