# Spliiit vs SplitEx

The clearest difference is ads: SplitEx at none against Spliiit's shown. SplitEx also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Spliiit's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spliiit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SplitEx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spliiit ships an update every 5 days, SplitEx every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
