# GLP vs Stepwise

The clearest difference is ads: GLP at none against Stepwise's shown. GLP also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GLP sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Stepwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GLP ships an update every 3 days, Stepwise every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
