# CH16 vs AIS Fleet

The clearest difference is ads: AIS Fleet at none against CH16's shown. AIS Fleet also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). CH16's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH16 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AIS Fleet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CH16 ships an update every 2 months, AIS Fleet every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
