# Haven Notes vs Fragments

The clearest difference is ads: Haven Notes at none against Fragments's shown. Haven Notes also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). Fragments's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Haven Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Fragments sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Haven Notes ships an update every 3 weeks, Fragments every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
