# Lody vs MoonCode

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Lody at 6 against MoonCode's 1. Lody also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MoonCode holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lody has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Lody ships an update every 3 days, MoonCode every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
