# Invoice Maker vs STS Pilot

The clearest difference is monetization model: Invoice Maker at free with in-app purchases against STS Pilot's subscription. Invoice Maker also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 1). STS Pilot's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Invoice Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and STS Pilot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STS Pilot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Invoice Maker has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Invoice Maker ships an update every 2 days, STS Pilot every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
