# PlannerNext vs Cinch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cinch at every 3 days against PlannerNext's fortnightly. Cinch also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlannerNext sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Cinch sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlannerNext ships an update fortnightly, Cinch every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
