# ZibVPN vs VPN Guard

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Guard at 5.0 against ZibVPN's 3.7. VPN Guard also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 3). ZibVPN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZibVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and VPN Guard sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Guard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Guard has 23 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
