# Habits vs TreeNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Habits at none against TreeNote's 1. TreeNote's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TreeNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Habits asks for nothing beyond the download.

Habits ships an update every 2 months, TreeNote weekly. Both last shipped on October 6, 2026.
