# Note Now vs Fathom AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fathom AI at every 5 days against Note Now's every 5 months. Fathom AI also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fathom AI sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note Now ships an update every 5 months, Fathom AI every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
