# BlockRot vs Screen Time Control

The clearest difference is rating: BlockRot at 4.7 against Screen Time Control's 3.9. BlockRot also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (387 vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlockRot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Screen Time Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
