# Grape vs InkNote

The clearest difference is ads: Grape at none against InkNote's shown. Grape also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grape sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.00 per month and InkNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grape ships an update every 3 days, InkNote every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
