# Cadence vs LastWhen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cadence at fortnightly against LastWhen's every 2 months. LastWhen's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and LastWhen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cadence ships an update fortnightly, LastWhen every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
