# MagicDay vs Magic Planning

The clearest difference is rating: Magic Planning at 5.0 against MagicDay's 4.0. MagicDay's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Magic Planning sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic Planning holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.

MagicDay ships an update every 2 days, Magic Planning every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
