# WitBlitz vs Shock Trivia

The clearest difference is ads: WitBlitz at none against Shock Trivia's shown. WitBlitz also leads on ratings volume (14 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.2). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WitBlitz sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Shock Trivia sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WitBlitz against 5.0 for Shock Trivia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WitBlitz has 14 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
