# SMS Forwarder vs MessagePilot

The clearest difference is update cadence: SMS Forwarder at every 5 days against MessagePilot's every 10 days. MessagePilot's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Forwarder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MessagePilot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMS Forwarder ships an update every 5 days, MessagePilot every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
