# Ponder vs CineCard

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ponder at fortnightly against CineCard's every 3 months. CineCard's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ponder ships an update fortnightly, CineCard every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
