# Tally vs Day Grid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tally at daily against Day Grid's weekly. Tally also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tally sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Day Grid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tally ships an update daily, Day Grid weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
