# Worldwide TV vs SmartCast Pro

The clearest difference is ads: SmartCast Pro at none against Worldwide TV's shown. Worldwide TV's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Worldwide TV sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and SmartCast Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Worldwide TV ships an update every 6 weeks, SmartCast Pro every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
